Works pretty good. I still have the original spot cooler with the blue ball but it didn't have the heating feature so I couldn't resist getting the combined heating/cooling model. Very good-uses batteries up like crazy but I still thing it's worth it!

This was really handy during the past heat wave in the Northeast, provided a really cool feel to the skin, uses 4 AA's you can get anywhere, will be testing the Heat feature in the winter. (makes a great cold compress for those aches and pains as well)
